After honing his skills as an animator at Studio Z and Studio Z5, he made his directorial debut with "Emergency Launch Saber Kids" in 1991. However, it was his contributions to the "Naruto Shippuden" film series that truly captivated audiences and collectors alike. "Naruto Shippuden the Movie" (2007) and its sequel, "Naruto Shippuden the Movie: Bonds" (2008), stand out as essential titles in any anime collection, celebrated for their compelling storytelling and stunning animation. Kamegaki's later project, "Lupin III vs Detective Conan The Movie" (2013), not only grossed over 4 billion yen but also solidified his status in the industry, appealing to both franchise fans and collectors.
