The story follows Chyna, a young rich heir who becomes lost in his extravagant lifestyle. In an effort to teach him a lesson, his father, an oligarch, along with an unconventional psychologist, creates a project that simulates life in a 19th-century Kazakh village. Chyna is led to believe he has traveled back in time, forcing him to confront his privileged existence.
