The film follows Takashi, a junior high student frustrated with his father's presence and the local wannabe gangsters. His interest in the girl next door, Megumi, leads him on an adventure sparked by a rumor of a famous porn actress visiting town for an autograph session. With Takashi and his judo friends at the center of the chaos, the story blends humor and nostalgia.

As a debut feature for Shin Adachi, who is recognized for his work as a screenwriter, 14 That Night captures the essence of youth with a blend of comedy and romance.
