A Bachelor's Life Abroad

The film consists of six sequences that chronicle the experiences of Michal, a young man who travels from Poland to Germany. He begins by enrolling in a course focused on social behavior and etiquette, but his attempts to impress women often lead to embarrassing situations.

As the story progresses, Michal takes various jobs, including working for a carousel operator and in a mine. His encounters with women range from humorous to cynical, especially as he develops a complicated relationship with his divorced landlady, Mrs. Luther. Ultimately, Michal's journey through these experiences hints at the possibility of finding true love amidst his chaotic adventures.
