A Clean Sweep

The story follows Edgar, who, after losing his bank job, keeps the truth from his wife while living off their savings. To make ends meet, he takes a door-to-door sales job selling vacuum cleaners, leading to a series of comical mishaps, including a disastrous demonstration that fills an apartment hallway with trash.

As Edgar navigates through the challenges of his new role, he inadvertently ends up at a bridal shower where his wife believes he has brought the vacuum cleaner as a gift. The plot thickens when Edgar's wife discovers a new job opportunity for him selling vacuum cleaners, just as the bank manager offers him his old job back. This film features a strong cast, including Vivien Oakland and Eddie Dunn, who contribute to the comedic chaos that ensues throughout the narrative.
