A Friend of the Family

The film follows artist Alison Shaw, who, after a traumatic experience in Toronto, relocates to a small town in Ontario with her husband Darrin. They settle into their new home, welcomed by locals, including David Snow, who partners with Darrin in an antiques business.

As Alison begins to suspect David of being a serial killer targeting women resembling her, her fears grow, but the community's trust in David complicates her fight for the truth. The narrative escalates as the couple moves to Vancouver, yet Alison's obsession with uncovering the truth only deepens, straining her relationship with Darrin.
