A kaméliás hölgy

The film follows Marguerite Gautier, a Parisian courtesan who falls in love with the son of a modest nobleman. As their romance flourishes, Marguerite decides to leave her former life behind and move to the countryside. However, their happiness is short-lived when her lover's father intervenes, pressuring Marguerite to end the relationship for the boy's future.

As Marguerite returns to Paris, she finds herself slipping back into her old, destructive lifestyle, which ultimately jeopardizes her health. The narrative explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the harsh realities of societal expectations. With a cast that includes Enikő Eszenyi and Tibor Mertz, this adaptation of a classic story presents a compelling character study.
