The film follows Gábor Szávay, a clerk at General Electricity Ltd, who holds an engineering degree and has even authored a book on electricity. Despite his qualifications, he refrains from applying for a grant to improve his financial situation, largely due to his namesake connection to the director. Instead, his kind colleague steps in to assist him and invites him to the home of the CEO.
