A Light Sleep

The story follows sixteen-year-old Yeo Lin, whose life took a drastic turn after the loss of her parents two years prior. To support her younger siblings, she resorts to selling her body, navigating the complex and often painful trials of love and friendship while grappling with her own responsibilities.

Yeo Lin's chronic insomnia adds another layer to her struggles. She relies on medication for sleep, with her dreams serving as a temporary escape from her harsh reality. The film captures her emotional detachment and the weight of her burdens, painting a poignant picture of a girl caught between childhood and adulthood.
