A Loss of Innocence

The film follows Erik Eriksen, a successful pianist in New York, as he returns to his hometown of Templeton. Despite his achievements, he faces distrust from his community and family for not adhering to their beliefs. Only his mother and younger brother Jens offer him support during this challenging time.

Erik's life becomes more complicated when he falls in love with Chelnica, a talented pianist and devoted Mormon, who is also engaged to his brother Jens.
