A Man on the Run

The film follows Fischer, a mining engineer who is actually Karel Kraus, a former Gestapo member sentenced to eight years in prison for murder. As he works with fellow prisoners on the renovation of the Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia in Prague, the routine of prison life is disrupted by a mysterious car that begins to appear near the construction site. This car is linked to a potential escape plan organized by Kraus' brother, who offers a way out of his dire situation.
