A Midsummer Night's Dream

This version presents the tale of Theseus, Duke of Athens, and Hippolyta, queen of the Amazons, as they navigate the chaos caused by the king of the elves and the queen of the fairies. The mischievous character Puck adds to the whimsy with his magic potion, alongside a group of amateur actors that enhance the narrative.

A Midsummer Night's Dream is also notable for being one of George Balanchine’s rare narrative ballets. The production is part of the Paris Opera Ballet's repertoire, showcasing a sophisticated blend of dance and storytelling.
