A Pierrot Praying for the Moon

Shizuru Tamai lives with her mother and grandmother in a small mountain town in Japan. While her grandmother requires care, Shizuru's life is filled with routine and a sense of confinement imposed by her mother. Working as a receptionist at a hospital, she recalls a childhood book titled 'The Pierrot Prays to the Moon' and decides to find it online.

Upon receiving the book, she discovers an unexpected slip of paper containing a recipe. This prompts her to reach out to Tobuse, the individual who sent her the book. The narrative explores themes of memory, longing, and the quest for connection, making it a poignant addition to the romance genre.
