A Reserve Bride

In A Reserve Bride, Lee Kei-hau enjoys a stable life with his wife Wong Tai-chu and their son. When Tai-chu experiences discomfort, a mix-up at the doctor's office leads her to believe she has little time left. This prompts her to consider finding a second wife for Lee, which introduces nurse So Lin-yung into the mix.

The film unfolds as Lee, unaware of the confusion surrounding his wife's health, encourages her to exercise for better health. His attempts to motivate her inadvertently lead to misunderstandings, including accusations of infidelity. Tai-chu's playful counteraction adds to the comedic tension, as she pretends to be affectionate towards her friend Judy.
