A Simple Curve

The film follows Caleb, a 27-year-old raised by his bush hippie parents in the Kootenays. Caleb admires his father's woodworking skills and unique lifestyle but grapples with his father's repeated failures in business. As the junior partner in their carpentry shop, Caleb feels trapped by his father's self-destructive tendencies.

When an old family friend arrives to develop a high-end fishing lodge, Caleb sees a chance for financial stability. However, a small deception spirals into a significant betrayal, forcing Caleb to confront his relationship with his father.
