A Small Town Idol

The film follows Sam Smith, a cross-eyed man in Sleepytown, who is set to marry Mary Brown. However, the scheming Jim Jones has other plans, aiming to win Mary for himself. When Jim uses a publicity still to tarnish Sam's reputation, Sam leaves for Hollywood to reinvent himself. Despite his unconventional looks, Sam finds success in the film industry and hopes to return to win Mary back.
