A Weather Report

The story follows 18-year-old Hikaru as she travels from Niigata to Tokyo to meet her estranged father, Naohide. After graduating high school, she embarks on this journey without informing her mother, Mayumi, who raised her alone. Naohide, a successful scriptwriter for a hit TV romance drama, grapples with the reality of his past and the existence of his illegitimate child. He finds himself caught between rekindling his relationship with Hikaru and managing his current commitments.
