Aai

The film centers on Salubai, a Tamasha dancer who aspires for her daughter Chandan to receive an education and become a lawyer. However, after Salubai's sudden death during a performance, Chandan takes over her mother's role in the troupe to support them financially. Despite her dreams, Chandan's life takes a dramatic turn when she falls in love with Dr. Pradeep Desai, only to face tragedy again when he dies in an accident, leaving her pregnant.

Chandan's journey continues as she gives birth to her son Anamik and vows to raise him to be a doctor like his father. To fulfill this promise, she sacrifices her own desires and dedicates her life to performing in the troupe, facing societal stigma for her profession. Aai presents a poignant story of a mother's love and the sacrifices she makes, set against the backdrop of the Tamasha tradition in India.
