The narrative follows Dr. Ankhu, a heart specialist who has lost his wife and is raising their son, Sudhanshu. The dynamics shift when Dr. Ankhu remarries, and his new wife, Bonashri, becomes a supportive figure for Sudhanshu. As Sudhanshu falls in love with Joysree, an orphan raised by three eunuchs, the story delves into the complexities of love and acceptance within a family.

Despite initial resistance from his father regarding the marriage, Sudhanshu's stepmother backs his choice. An accident leads to a turning point in the story, as Joysree's care for Sudhanshu influences Dr. Ankhu's perspective on their relationship.
