Ab heute erwachsen

The story centers on Stefan, who is preparing to turn 18 and plans to move out of his mother's home. As he embarks on this journey, he works as an apprentice bricklayer and becomes romantically involved with Christel, a telegram messenger. Their attempts to connect are often complicated by familial expectations and misunderstandings.
