Again

The story follows Mie, who grapples with the loss of her father after the devastating 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. She discovers a bundle of unsent New Year’s cards that have remained untouched for 28 years, prompting her to investigate their significance. Her journey leads her to Haruhiko Sakacho, a former teammate of her father's on a high school baseball team.

As Mie connects with her father's past, she gathers his former teammates to compete in the Masters Koshien, a senior league baseball tournament. Through this process, Mie uncovers deeper truths about her father's life and the bonds formed through sports. The film presents a poignant reflection on memory, grief, and the ties that bind us to those we've lost.
