Against All the Rules

The film follows Colonel Koloda, who is recruited by foreign intelligence to steal what he believes are secret documents. However, these documents turn out to be disinformation aimed at misleading foreign agencies. As the story unfolds, Captain Alexey Vereshchagin goes undercover at a bank to monitor the situation surrounding the documents.

The plot thickens when Mikhail Druskin, a struggling scientist and single father, attempts to rob the very bank where the documents are hidden. In a twist of fate, his actions lead to the taking of hostages, intertwining his desperate measures with the intelligence operation at play. This blend of comedy and tension highlights the absurdity of the characters' predicaments.
