Ah Lok Kafe

The film centers around Ah Lok Kafe, a trendy cafe in Kuala Lumpur owned by Ah Lok, an Elvis Presley enthusiast. This family-run business serves as a gathering spot for a diverse clientele, complete with a karaoke lounge for entertainment.

The plot thickens as Ah Lok encounters financial difficulties after his daughter, Ai Ling, is diagnosed with a rare heart disease. Faced with mounting medical bills, Ah Lok considers selling his cafe to a dubious contractor who intends to demolish it for a condominium project. The narrative weaves together themes of family, community, and the lengths a parent will go to for their child.
