Aisyah: Biarkan Kami Bersaudara

The film follows Aisyah, who has just graduated and aspires to be a teacher. Living in a religious village in Ciwidey, West Java, she faces challenges when she is assigned to teach in an isolated village in East Timor without electricity or cell signals. Mistaken for Sister Maria, she grapples with her Muslim identity in a predominantly Catholic community.

Aisyah's journey is marked by her interactions with local residents and her struggles to connect with her students, particularly Lordis Defam, who views her as an enemy due to their differing religions. The film highlights cultural tensions and the quest for acceptance in an unfamiliar setting. It showcases the challenges and triumphs of Aisyah as she navigates through her new role and the expectations placed upon her.
