The film follows Major Kemal, who joins the imperial forces while pretending to support Çerkez Ethem and the sultan. His primary goal is to uncover an infiltrator within the National Struggle, which leads him to rise in rank through military success. However, his familial relationships become strained as his brothers, unaware of his true role, turn against him.
