Aldeotas

The story centers on Levi and Elias, who part ways at 17, influenced by the challenges of adolescence in the conservative environment of Coti das Fuças. Levi, a poet, is determined to escape to the city, while Elias, burdened by a violent home life, chooses to stay behind. Their lives take different trajectories until they reunite 33 years later at a funeral, where they confront their shared past and reflect on their choices.

Aldeotas is inspired by the theater play of the same name, also written by Gero Camilo. The film captures the essence of friendship, loss, and the passage of time, making it a poignant addition for those interested in character-driven narratives and Brazilian cinema.
