All Things Pass

The film presents a narrative centered around resistance-leader Arie, who is killed by Dutch SS-man Niels during the war. Decades later, one of Arie's comrades, Ab, faces a moral quandary when he encounters Niels again. He decides to gather his old friends to fulfill their vow of revenge, but they find that time has changed their convictions.

Only Gerben, a former communist, remains loyal to the pledge they made in their youth.
