Aloud

The film follows Arden, an introverted boy raised in a strict Catholic orphanage during the 1960s. He struggles with confidence in his singing ability and pretends to sing during choir practice. When Mr. Stevens, the new music teacher, arrives, he discovers Arden's secret, leading to a partnership that helps Arden gain confidence in his voice.

As Arden's relationship with Mr. Stevens develops, a bond forms that encourages his growth. However, the Mother Superior becomes concerned about Arden's changes and the attachment to his teacher, ultimately leading to their separation. This poignant narrative captures Arden's journey as he seeks to find his own voice amid the challenges of his environment.
