It’s interesting how the two are drawn to the same woman, Katerina Sergeevna, which adds layers to their rivalry. The pacing feels deliberate, almost like a slow burn, which makes the unraveling of their relationship all the more impactful. The performances are grounded, and there's a certain rawness to the emotions that enhances the drama. Not your run-of-the-mill thriller, that's for sure.
