An Algorithm

The narrative centers on Yun-jeong, an openly lesbian student involved in a theater production about a lesbian's suicide attempt. Tensions arise when she confronts Ji-won, the playwright, for her lack of understanding of homosexuality. Ji-won's attempt to connect with Yun-jeong's ex-girlfriend, Min-a, leads her to rewrite the play, drawing parallels to Yun-jeong and Min-a’s own relationship.

As Ji-won delves deeper into their story, she finds herself developing feelings for Min-a, complicating the dynamics further. The film runs for 40 minutes, offering a concise yet impactful exploration of the intersections of love, art, and authenticity within the LGBTQ+ experience. The performances by Lee Joo-young, Jeon So-nee, and Kim Ji-yun add depth to this poignant narrative.
