Angela’s Shadow

The story follows Angela and Henry, a couple expecting a child, as they travel to the Cree community of KiiWeeTin. Angela seeks guidance from her childhood nanny, Mary, when she encounters a menacing shadow figure. Mary performs illegal Cree ceremonies to bless and protect Angela and her unborn child. As Angela uncovers the truth about her ancestry and the nature of the spectral figure, she must confront her husband’s troubling views and embrace her spiritual heritage.
