The story revolves around Akide Beykoz, who lives with her youngest son Ercan in a coastal neighborhood. Despite having two other sons, Maksut and Fikret, Akide's attention is solely on Ercan. Tensions rise as her older sons are upset over their marriages to women of their choosing, rather than ones Akide approved.

Determined to take control of Ercan's romantic future, Akide plans to find him a bride herself. However, Ercan is already in love with Duygu, a nurse who values family ties and insists on her mother's approval before agreeing to marry him. This creates a complicated situation for the young couple, leading them to engage in a game of navigating familial expectations and personal desires.
