AOSHO! Voices in Bloom

The film focuses on Shippei Iida as he moves to the remote island of Origoshima with his mother. Transferring to the island's only high school, Origoshima High School, he faces the impending merger of his school with a mainland institution. Shippei, who is naturally shy and has few friends, experiences the kindness of the island community and his classmates.

In an effort to create a lasting memory before the school’s merger, Shippei proposes a choral performance involving all students. This initiative, however, leads to conflicts among his friends, adding layers to the narrative of connection and discord. AOSHO! Voices in Bloom captures the essence of youth, friendship, and the bittersweet nature of change.
