The story follows Arini, who is misled by her close friend, Ira, into believing her husband, Helmi, is faithful. Upon discovering Ira's intentions, she chooses to divorce Helmi and leaves her son, who later faces a serious health crisis. Seeking a new life in the U.S., Arini meets Nick, a student grappling with his own family issues, who becomes deeply attached to her.
