Assault Platoon

The film takes place in 1973 Vietnam, where gas bombs are unleashed on villages, leading to devastating consequences for innocent civilians. Two American pilots, wrongfully accused of these bombings, find themselves captured and tortured. Despite the intense pressure, they refuse to divulge any information beyond their name, rank, and serial number.

A team of seven diverse individuals is assembled with the mission to rescue the pilots. They manage to extricate the men from their dire circumstances, but the situation quickly escalates as they face a deadly counterattack from Vietnamese forces. The film concludes with a stark revelation that the U.S. Government had ulterior motives, wanting the pilots rescued only to silence them regarding the gas-bomb incidents.
