Auspicious Flower from Heaven

The film tells the story of Hyeon-Ji and Dong-Hwa, whose lives intertwine amidst challenging circumstances. Dong-Hwa supports himself as a nude model, while Hyeon-Ji's brother, Dong-Mi, makes ends meet through massage therapy. Their lives take a dark turn when they witness a traumatic event involving Hyeon-Ji's father, leading to serious consequences for all involved.

As Hyeon-Ji grapples with the aftermath of this experience, she suffers from pneumonia and schizophrenia. In search of healing, she is sent to a temple, where she becomes a Buddhist nun named Ji-Hyo. Meanwhile, Dong-Hwa completes his studies abroad and returns as a genetics expert, ultimately leading to a poignant reunion that highlights their troubled pasts and the scars they carry.
