Automärchen

The film follows three distinct plotlines involving the employees of a car garage. One story features a shy bookkeeper named Piel, who is magically encouraged by a woodland fairy to drive his Trabi recklessly. Another plotline revolves around manager Neumann, who makes a deal with a black cat to acquire a more respectable vehicle.

In a third narrative, a spirit known as "Car Accident" provides insights to garage owner Sengebusch about future traffic incidents, allowing him to profit from being the first on the scene. Automärchen combines comedic storytelling with whimsical elements, making it a distinctive entry in the comedy genre of the early 1980s.
