Avenging Angelo is an interesting mix of action, comedy, and crime that gives off a light but gritty atmosphere. The premise of a woman avenging her mafia father has potential, but it often feels like it’s trying to balance too many tones at once. The chemistry between the leads is decent; Anthony Quinn as Angelo and the bodyguard, played by a younger, more rugged looking Sylvester Stallone, creates a dynamic that’s both charming and silly. The pacing is a bit uneven; some moments drag while others rush through important plot points. There's a certain charm in the practical effects and a few decent action sequences. Overall, it’s a quirky watch that won’t be for everyone but has its moments.
