Awakening

The film follows an elderly woman, Louise Katchia, who seeks to help her grandson Nathan reconnect with his Native American heritage. Reluctantly, Nathan is sent to a Shaman in the Warm Springs Indian reservation, where he is thrust into a spiritual journey.

During a ceremony, Nathan enters a trance that forces him to confront his modern identity against the backdrop of his cultural past. This inner conflict leads him to face a violent cultural force, ultimately testing his survival skills and resilience.
