Bakery Amour

The story follows Tai Chi, played by Francis Ng, who moves from a small Chinese village to Hong Kong with dreams of becoming a private detective. Upon settling into his new apartment, he discovers a collection of unopened love letters addressed to his neighbor Lok To, a beautiful woman he becomes enamored with. As he reads the letters, he learns about her long-distance relationship with Gala, a man living in France. Rather than revealing his secret, Tai Chi decides to buy a bakery and employ Lok To, hoping to help her reconnect with Gala.

As the narrative unfolds, Tai Chi finds himself caught between his desire to assist Lok To and his growing feelings for her.
