Bandish

The story follows Kishan, portrayed by Rajesh Khanna, a wealthy and spoiled medical student. His life takes a turn when he encounters Madhu, played by Hema Malini, who teaches him humility and awakens his romantic feelings. The narrative darkens when Madhu is tragically killed by Kapilkumar, played by Danny Denzongpa, leading Kishan to retreat to a village to continue his medical practice.

In the village, Kishan meets Chanchal, an exact look-alike of Madhu, reigniting his emotional journey as he grapples with love and loss.
