The story unfolds 100 years ago when Suri is kidnapped by Musa and Mbah Timah due to her refusal to marry a British colonist's child. In Bukit Tinggi, Suri marries Hendra, the son of Pak Lurah. However, tragedy strikes as Musa seeks revenge, killing Suri and her husband in front of their son, Ryanto.
