So, Batman & Robin—it's definitely one of those films that divides the fans. Joel Schumacher's take on the Caped Crusader leans heavily into camp, which is evident from the colorful set designs and the over-the-top performances, especially by Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze. I mean, who could forget his ice puns? The chemistry between George Clooney as Batman and Chris O'Donnell as Robin feels a bit off, though, maybe because of the script's uneven moments. And then there's Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, captivating yet a bit too much with her seductive antics. The practical effects are a mixed bag—some genuinely impressive, others a little dated. The pacing can drag at times, but it has a certain charm that draws you in, for better or worse.
