Bauernopfer

The story follows Andi Gruber, a single father and organic farmer, whose world collapses when his cattle are found to be contaminated with harmful substances. Faced with the impending slaughter of his livestock, he embarks on a desperate quest to uncover the source of the pollutants. This journey leads him to biochemist Dr. Kroetz, who is fatally wounded when Andi arrives, placing him at the center of a murder investigation.

As Andi seeks to protect his daughter Lena, who is safe on a neighboring farm, he teams up with young scientist Silvie Kraus. Together, they uncover a conspiracy involving a cartel of abattoir operators, chemical companies, and corrupt officials testing vaccines on livestock without farmers' consent.
