The film focuses on Max, who finds himself in a life-threatening situation during a series of attacks at an electro club. He takes refuge in a storage room with fellow attendees, including his new friend Sefi. The narrative challenges the characters' morals as they face the decision between self-preservation and altruism.

Alexa, Max's sister, learns about the attack while on her way home and chooses to return to the club in search of him. Joined by her boyfriend Raphik, they navigate the chaos in hopes of finding Max. Beats merges elements of drama and music while presenting a gripping story about the human condition under pressure.
