Bedouin

The film follows Rita, who embarks on a perilous journey from Ukraine to Russia in a desperate attempt to secure funds for her daughter’s bone marrow transplant. After the biological parents of the child die in an accident, Rita finds herself six months pregnant and facing dire circumstances. To save her daughter, she dives into the criminal underworld, showcasing the lengths a mother will go for her child.

Rita's journey takes her to Jordan, where she seeks out Bedouins known for their unconventional cancer treatments. This shift in setting highlights the clash between traditional and nontraditional medical practices, adding depth to the narrative. The cast includes Anna Mikhalkova, Sergey Svetlakov, Dinara Drukarova, and Mikhail Evlanov, who all contribute to the intense emotional landscape of the film.
