Belated Full Moon

The story follows a grandfather who faces deep depression due to the significant changes in Bulgarian society over the past fifty years. He struggles to communicate with his troubled son and feels helpless as his grandson ventures into a life of crime, exacerbated by a mother who cannot provide love.

As the grandfather seeks solace in an old folks home, he finds the environment oppressive and decides to escape with friends to pursue a money-making scheme. However, after their plan fails, he ends up alone and destitute in the streets of Sofia, witnessing the continued decline of his homeland.

Belated Full Moon features a cast that includes Itzhak Finzi, Nikolai Urumov, Georgi Cherkelov, Georgi Rusev, and Ivan Nestorov, who portray the complex emotions tied to family and societal pressures.
