Benten Kozo

The film follows Kiku, an orphan who learns theatrical and martial arts at a Buddhist temple. His talents are exploited for fundraising and showcasing young boys for sale. Frustrated with the temple's practices, Kiku decides to leave but finds himself wrongfully accused of double murder. This sets him on a desperate journey to clear his name and survive.
