Bergkristall

The film follows Franz, a mountain farmer's son and dedicated poacher, who is deeply in love with Sanna. After a tragic encounter with a hunter who is also vying for Sanna's affection, Franz is shot and subsequently mistaken for murder. Despite his acquittal, the village ostracizes him, leaving only Sanna to support him as they raise their children in isolation.

Years later, the mystery of the hunter's disappearance resurfaces when their children go missing during Christmas in the mountains. This pivotal moment leads to the resolution of the long-standing murder case that has haunted Franz.
