So, 'Best Driver' is really something else. It’s this unusual blend of existential musing wrapped in a music backdrop. You’ve got these three characters, right? They wind up on Jeju Island and find themselves next to this old woman, who’s either in a deep sleep or, well, maybe not. The atmosphere is tense yet oddly serene, making you ponder life and death while these songs play in the background. The pacing can feel a bit languid, but it adds to the dreamlike quality. The performances are raw, you sense a real struggle between curiosity and dread. It's distinctive for its ability to blend these themes without heavy-handedness, leaving you with a lingering sense of ambiguity. Definitely not your average music film.
